What is Light Therapy?
LED light therapy empowers your own body's ability
to repair, regrow and regenerate. No pills, no surgery, and no chemicals required. Light therapy works at a cellular level
and actually changes the molecular structure of the cell, and can reach beneath the dermis of the skin. Optimal LED wavelengths
include 680,720, and 880 nanometers. NASA has conducted several studies indicating and documenting acceleration of wound healing,
serious burns, crush injuries, non healing fractures, muscle and bone atrophy, traumatic ischemic wounds, radiation tissue
damage, compromised skin grafts, and tissue regeneration. Light therapy is the application of light energy to the skin for
therapeutic benefits. NASA’s space program has proven that LED (near-infrared) light therapy promotes wound healing
and human tissue growth. It enhances cellular metabolism, accelerates the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells,
and stimulates the production of collagen - the foundation of smooth and healthy skin

Athletic Performance
Studies on cells exposed to microgravity and hypergravity indicate that human cells need gravity to stimulate muscle
growth. As the the gravitational force increases or decreases, cell function responds in a linear fashion. Nasa has already
used leds to promote muscle activity in weightessness situations. Spectra taken from flexor and other muscles demonstrate light
photons travel at wavelenghts between 630-880 nm and 23cm through the surface tissue and muscle, between input
and exit at the photon detector. As muscle stimulation is promoted the result is a faster stronger, healther, muscle,
hence improved " all around athletic performance". With Light therapy, photons penetrate surface tissues
and are instantly absorbed by the underlying cells. The stimulation triggers rapid cell functioning and regeneration. Healthy
cells overpower abnormal cells and eliminate them. The benefits are multifaceted and include speedy healing, improved musculoskeletal
function and reduced pain and swelling. LED therapy not only accelerates the healing process, but stimulates new tissue generation.
It is used to reduce pain and inflammation from soft tissue injuries and promotes rapid healing of skin wounds or puncture
wounds, muscle pulls or tears, joint injuries, tendonitis, or recent nerve injuries. The speed of healing combined with the
regeneration of tissue is a huge asset to athletic performance and turnaround with sport injuries. Get back in the game and
stay in longer and stronger.
Wrinkles
Light therapy promotes the production of collagen, and elastin which can
rebuild a thinned or deteriorated dermis and offer protection to skin exposed to environmental insults. Exposure to LED light
can accelerate the skin's natural repair and immune responses. The results are cummulative, so the more you participate the
better your results. Clinical studies have documented a 74% improvement in wrinkles and 84% in skin clarity and smoothness.
That's better than any skin cream out there.
Acne
LED light kills bacteria (which can lead to inflammation of the skin), by purging the pores of impurities, hence
healing the skin. In addition to an acne solution, LED light at this wavelength helps skin discoloration, scars and large
pores.
Wound Healing
LED and Low Level Lasers use light to penetrate the body's tissue. This level of light will
begin to stimulate the body to produce the natural compounds needed to help accelerate the healing process. It does this by
stimulating the tissues which will result in the acceleration of cellular activity druing wound healing. LED multi-color therapy
utilizes light energy in the invisible and visible range of light. The energy given off is absorbed into the body being treated.
It is now known that the body is composed of all colors of the light spectrum. By adding a very intense color to the body,
in a concentrated form, and in the area of pain or a wound, the body reacts in a very positive way to stimulate compounds
in the body that accelerate healing.
Muscle Pain & Arthritis
LED light is used to reduce pain and inflammation from soft tissue injuries.
In addition, LED light promotes rapid healing of skin wounds and/or puncture wounds, muscle pulls or tears, joint
injuries, tendonitis, or recent nerve injuries by increasing the endorphin levels in the cell tissues.
Hair Loss
Light therapy
has proven to provide fuel for dying hair follicles. Literature suggests that LED light therapy stops hair loss 85% of the
time. It takes 8-12 weeks to work (going twice a week) and you should commit to 6 to 8 months. It increases blood supply to
the scalp, repairs and improves hair shaft quality, prolongs the life of hair color , relieves irritating scalp conditions,
and when used with hair transplantation, it helps the newly transplanted hair follicles to grow.
